About Dr. Paul Pocock

Dr. Paul Pocock graduated from the Royal Dental Hospital in London U.K. He then worked in several London hospitals, including Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital, after which he practiced as a general dentist in England, Australia and the Interior of B.C. In 1987 he entered the Graduate Orthodontic Program at U.W.O in London Ontario, graduating in 1989.

He has served as the President of the Orthodontic Society of B.C., Clinical Assistant Professor at UBC Dental School, and for the last 6 years as a member of the Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Team at the Children's Hospital of B.C.

The many organizations he belongs include the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, the B.C. Society of Orthodontists, the Canadian Association of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics, the American Association of Orthodontics and the American Cleft Palate Association. Dr.Pocock has been published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and has lectured locally and internationally.

When not working, Paul enjoys spending time with his wife Sharon (who works in the office) and their two teenage children Tristan (Dirt Biker!), and Sara (Equestrian Princess!) His favorite hobby is to get away from it all on his old boat ,"Jackaroo".

The Pococks' favorite charity is the Cleft Palate Program at B.C. Children's Hospital.
