Emma the Archer!
Emma Hughes Writes:
I first tried archery at Outdoor school. When I came home from Outdoor school, I told my Mom I wanted to do archery and she got me involved with the North Shore Archers. Now I have been doing it for over a year and really love it. Everyone in my club has helped me out and now I have my own bow and arrows. I went to a Junior Olympian Outdoor Tournament in Squamish and got first place in my grouping. We had to shoot 90 arrows over 3 different distances (25m, 35m, 45m). I was super tired by the end of it but it was amazing. This is a picture of me and a few other kids from my club at the tournament.
